These are all the tank books in the Osprey New Vanguard series currently available. They are arranged in numerical order (which is essentially the order in which they were published) so, for example, the earliest titles are on Page 1 and the most recent releases are on Page 7.

These Vanguard books are an excellent place to start if you are new to tanks, and also a very good set of primer reference works for those familiar with the subject. Many titles in the full series have gone out of print, however, so if you find a title you want you are recommended to buy it promptly or it may become unavailable.

The New Vanguard series is a development of an earlier Vanguard series, in a slightly smaller format, and has itself evolved over time. Originally (for about the first 40 titles) it just covered armoured vehicles and related subjects, but more recently it has diverged to include ships, siege weapons, and other varied subjects. Only tank-related titles are listed here; they cover a wide range of subjects including German Panzerkampfwagen III and IV tanks, Panther, Tiger and King Tiger tanks, Jagdpanzer IV, Sturmgeschütz (Sturmgeschuetz) III and IV assault guns, American/U.S. M4 Sherman, M3/M5 Stuart, M26 Pershing and M1 Abrams tanks, British Mark I, Mark IV, Cromwell, Chieftain and Challenger tanks, Soviet/Russian T-34, T-55, KV-1 and IS-2 tanks, and Japanese tanks.
